Case 1719 Anderson Charity Lancaster 1765.
Will of "Charity Anderson of Lancaster ... Widow", dated 15 Jul 1765, proved ??? [no document in probate specifying this], names daughter Mary Anderson of Lancaster Chesterfield in the County of Springfield & Province afores'd ["Massachusetts Bay"] Spinster ["whole of my Estate Real and personal"]. Daughter Mary Anderson to be executrix. [Note: this is the only document in the file and no further documents are listed in the docket for case 1719 here. At this time, it cannot be confirmed that this belong to the Charity of this page since no record of a surviving daughter Mary has been located, and the description of spinster appears to rule out the possibility she is referring to her daughter-in-law Mary, wife of son Jonathan. However, that her daughter lived in Chesterfield (where this Charity's son Jonathan may be found) suggests it might be. There is no inventory, so we cannot tell if Charity actually had any real estate, but no deeds for either Charity or Mary are found in Worcester County (except for the one cited above which longs precedes her will.]
