1980 Courier-Freeman, Potsdam, NY, Tue. 12 August 1980, page 12: Funeral services for Cecil R. Stoddard, 54, of 6 McKinley Street, Norwood, were Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Calvin Zimmer officiating for burial at Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Stoddard died Wednesday (Aug. 6, 1980) in the Potsdam Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks. He had been in failing health for three years. He was born in North Bangor on June 14, 1926, son of Edward and Mabel Dewey Stoddard. He married Jean Murray on June 22, 1968 in Norwood.
