On 15 Mar 1677/78, John Gedney of Salem gave land "formerly granted to Mr. William Clarke deceased" to son Bartholonew and his wife Hannah, and to daughter-in-law Susannah, widow of son John. Since his wife was not a party to this deed, she is presumed to have died before this.
