"Second [child of William Randolph IV of Wilton], Catherine, who married George Taylor of Horn Quarter, and by him had three daughters and three sons, namely: Lucy, who married Charles Carter Lee, an elder brother of General Robert E. Lee. Nannie, who married Stephen Decatur Whittle, a brother of Right Rev. Francis M. Whittle, Bishop of Virginia. Bettie, who married Richard Gilliam, a farmer, of Powhatan county. John-Penn, lives at 'Hazlewood,;' the old home of his grandfather, Col. John Taylor of Caroline. William and George, the other two sons, died unmarried."
