"In the name of God Amen I Catherine Kerr widow and relict of David Kerr ---of Guilford County and State of North Carolina....I give my son William Kerr fifty dollars...and ...daughter Kettrin I leave my little negro wench called ---- and if she should -----of Kettrin by stealth then...[illeg.]

"...son Thomas I leave my --- bible and to my son John Kerr's heirs I leave ten dollars and to my son David Kerr's heirs I leave ten dollars and to his son David I leave fifty dollars and I have to my son-in-law Thomas Brown and his wife Agnes fifty dollars and I leave to my son-in-law George Donnal and his wife Isabella fifty dollars and if there is any money belonging to my estate at my decs after paying off the sums mentioned in the will I leave it to be expressly divided to my son William and all my daughters. my body clothes of every kind I leave to be equally divided amongst all my daughters and I do hereby appoint Ralph Gorrel and John Thom to be executors of this my last will and Testament.
