1784 - Catherine's husband's will provided for her to occupy a property in Bridgham with sufficient furniture to furnish it. This was not the family home which went to eldest son John who was to make her an annual rent charge of £10, paid quarterly. These provisions were only if she remained a widow. If she remarried, she ceased to be the guardian of the children and executor of the will.

1795 - Burial: Catherine SARE Widow of Willm SARE buried March 22, aged 60 years.
