The diary (S1) of Catharine Bell-Van Norman for 1850 has been published.

Abner and Catharine lived with Abner’s father, Isaac Van Norman in the brick house until after 1852 (when both Isaac and Abner lost their wives). Before dying of consumption Catharine was nursed by her sister, Elizabeth Bell, who lived with them in the census of 1851 (S2).
