Carroll Dick

  Carroll Dick, 57, of 5 Cedar Drive died unexpectedly this morning at the family cabin at Marion Lake.
 Mr. Dick was born May 30, 1909 in Newton, the son of William Fred and Blanche Dick, and had spent 

his entire life here.

  He had worked for Dillons for 35 years and was manager of the meat department at the company’s 

south market for several years before retiring.

  He was a member of the Congregational Church.
  He married Claudine Park here on June 24, 1934.
  In addition to his widow, survivors include two daughters, Carolea Dick and Ruth Anne Dick, both of 

Wichita; one son, Fred of McPherson; and one brother, M. H. of Riverside, Ill.

  Funeral arrangements will be announced by Petersen Funeral Home.

Dick Funeral

  Funeral services for Carroll Dick, 57, who died Friday, will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Petersen 

Funeral Chapel.

  The Rev. Fred Spinder will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
  The body will be at the funeral home.
