He is buried at the Bethlehem Cemetery just east of Madisonville. [edit] OBITMADISONVILLE MESSENGER OBITS TUESDAY, MAY 30, 1989 CARLOS HENDRICKS Carlos Hendricks, 59, of 252 Hipple St., died at 6 a.m. Friday at his home. He was born in Muhlenberg County August 30, 1929, the son of the late Jesse and Mattie Croxton Hendricks. He was a retired coal miner from Peabody Coal Company. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Jane Gamblin, of Dawson Springs, Lutitia Vandygriff of Madisonville, one son Rev. Carlos Jeffery Hendricks of Nortonville; four sisters, Martha Henderson, Freda Alexander, and Emma Bowles all of Madisonville, and Nelva Bradley of Piqua, Ohio; six brothers Emmitt Hendricks, Marvin Hendricks, Rev. Ronnie Hendricks all of Madisonville, Jesse Hendricks II of Evansville, Ind., Robert D. Hendricks from Dawson Springs, and Dudley Hendricks of Breman; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Sunday at 3 p.m. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Alvey officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery. Image Gallery
