Worked as carriage maker, later worked for Smith & Wesson. Moved to Springfield from Southbridge betw 1865 and 1875. Was a twin. One of three sets born to his parents. See notes for Henry HAYNES #16. Died of typhoid fever. One of only two men in 13 generations of HAYNES direct line to die before age 70.
