B.W. Huntley. 84, Native Of W. Mecca, Dies In Fla.

Burt Wheeler Huntley, 84, native of W. Mecca and former W. Farmington businessman, died in Eustis, Fla. Hospital Wednesday night.
The body is to be brought to the Hitchcock Funeral Home at W. Farmington where final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Mr. Huntley was engaged in the buggy and wagon, real estate and the automobile business in W. Farmington for 22 years.
He moved to Eustis in 1919 and in 1920 became engaged in the real estate business there. He has been credited with influencing more people from Ohio to move to Eustis and Central Florida than any other one individual.
He maintained a residence in W. Farmington until the early 50s spending his summer months there.
Mr. Huntley was married to the late Carrie B. Mowen of Farmington.
He was a member of the Methodist Church of West Farmington, member of the Western Reserve 507 Masonic Lodge since 1906. He was a past patron of the Eastern Star 44 of West Farmington, 100F Lodge 222 Warren, Triangle Commandery 39 and Eustis Chapter 33 RAM, both of Eustis.
He was also a longtime member of the K. of P. Lodge of W. Farmington, and the Pythian Sisters.
He was a 32nd degree Mason belonging to the Tampa Consistory Shriner belonging to the Bahia Temple of Orlando, Lake County Scottish Rite Club and the Lake County Shrine Club, both of Eustis, Lake County Chamber of Commerce, the Lake County Board of Realtors, Eustis Elks Lodge 1578 BPO Elks, the Royal and Select Master Council 28 Golden Triangle of Fla., Eustis Tourist Club and was president of the Ohio - Florida Picnic which is held at Packard Park.
He is survived by a brother, Charles Huntley of Eustis, and a sister, Mrs. Austa Goldner of Warren.
Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of the Zeller and Kennedy Mortuary of Eustis at 10 a.m. today.
Masonic services will follow at the funeral home.
