BURLINGTON — Mrs.. Bettie Sharpe Moser, 94, of 305 Kernodle Drive, died at 6:35 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 1999, at Skilled Nursing Division of Alamance Regional Medical Center.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr. James S. Moser and the daughter of Mr. Levi Sharpe and Mrs.. Mary Payne Sharpe, both deceased. She was retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of the Women’s Society. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Elon College where she was a member of the former Edith Poole Sunday School Class, which is now the Wesleyan Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.. Hilda Moser Montgomery of Burlington; a son, Mr. Harry Wilton Moser of Burlington; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ms. Ethel Louise Moser; and a brother, Mr. Charlie P. Sharpe.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Randall Inness, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Elon College, and Mr. Charlie Pyles. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.

The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the home.
