    The funeral of Mr. Bernard A. Scheidereith, who died from suffocation Sunday during a fire in his home, 1212 Harlem avenue, took place yesterday afternoon. The body was conveyed to Zion German Church, North Gay street, where an impressive service conducted by the pastor Rev. Julius Hoffmann. Interment was made in Loudon Park Cemetery, the services at the grave being conducted by the Elks, of which Mr. Scheidereith was a member.

    The honorary pallbearers were included a delegation of from the board of directors of the Germania Maeunnerchor, Peabody Councill, Royal Arcanum, vestry of Zion Church and Baltimore Lodge of Elks. The active pallbearers were: Albert Adt, Herman Vonderhorst, Carl Hilgenberg, Charles Hilgartner, George Hax, Dr. George Hemmeter and Dr. Ernest Quandt.

    At the services both in the church and at the graveside hymns were sung by the singing section of the Germania Maeunnerchor and he church quartet. There were more than 150 floral designs.
