IL Bernard is with parents Richard (b. Mar 1836 IRE & Elen b. abt. 1846 IRE) 14 Mar 1907 Bernard Burke, wife and family, arrived from Dana, Iowa Saturday and went out to their ranch near Buckingham Monday. Mr. Burke was here last summer and bought the Tom McCafferty ranch. They were accompanied by Dick Cody, who will stop here this summer and of course after that he can not be driven away. They came from the town where Mr. DeWald, who used to reside here, runs a paper. When he learned of their destination he discouraged them by stating the country was no good.
