Facts and Events
The Family of Richard Twitchell of Chesham, Buckinghamshire
Robert Charles Anderson concludes that "While this scenario (that Joseph and Benjamin Twitchell of Dorchester were sons of Richard of Chesham), is not impossible, it seems highly unlikely, making both men appear much older than they appear to be from the New England records. In particular, if this arrangement were correct, Benjamin Twitchell would be about fifty years old at his marriage to Mary Riggs."[1]
