- Will of Benjamin Thomas, written 4 August 1825, proven August Term 1825
- August the fourth 1825, in the name of God Amen, I Benjamin Thomas, low in body but perfect in memory,
- I do will to my beloved wife Elizabeth Thomas all my rale [real] and percenal [personal] property during her life onely that may be excepted that is to say I leave to the heirs of my daughter Fany Bowen dec'd one dollar a peace, Elizabeth John one dollar, John Thomas one dollar, Benjamin Thomas one dollar, William Thomas one dollar, James Thomas hors [horse] Criter, Richard Thomas one hors [horse] colt, Elisha Thomas one Colt, Lucinda Thomas my yongest [sic] daughter to be made equi [equal] with her sister Nancy Sidwell,
- I do Appoint my beloved wife Elizabeth Thomas and William Thomas my Executrix, this my Last Will and Testament.
