- -March 8, 1730 Benjamin Shearman of South Kingstown, weaver, with consent of Lydia Potter of South Kingstown, widow, who is also mother & guardian to said Benmain for divers good causes & considerations him moving & more especially for 1 piece of land granted to me of 20 1/2 Acres land by Daniel Shearman of South Kingstown, cordwinder, the which land being in full satisfaction to me the said Benjamin Shearman for all my part & possession of all the estate both real & personal that belonged to my Father Thomas Shearman late of Kignstown deceased.
