Benjamin (Munn), s. of John (2), b. 1683; carpenter; he came here with his mother; in 1704 he was living in a half underground house, in the side hill on his father Richards' home lot; Richards' youngest dau. was cap., the rest of the family barely escaped, and his house was burned; Munn's house was so covered with snow that it escaped notice, and he, with his wife and baby, remained undisturbed; selectman; sol. in Fr. war; rem. late in life to Nfd., where he d. Feb. 5, 1774, a. 91."
