He died, apparently unmarried, before 6 Feb 1727/8 when administration of his estate was granted to his brother Samuel.

Samuel Bartlett named administrator for the estate of his brother Benjamin Bartlett late of Duxbury 6 Feb 1727/8. The inventory was dated 6 Feb 1727/8 and valued at 60 pounds 31 shillings 6 pence.
