• Page 22.--19th February, 1746-7. Reuben Allen qualifies administrator of Benj. Allen, with sureties Wm. White, Thomas Moore. (Note: Reuben Allen was the nephew of Benjamin Allen).

• Page 74.--8th March, 1747. Benj. Allen's appraisement by John Ruddle, Sr., Daniel Holman, Wm. James, John Ruddle, Jr.

• Page 15.-- 10th February, 1745-6. James Givvons (order book says James Givens) to Hugh Ross, £10 Pennsylvania money, 170 acres on west side Cathey's River called Walker's Run, Benjamin Allen's road. Acknowledged, 10th February, 1745.

• Page 9.--12th May, 1746. John Dobikin and Mary Dobikin qualify executors, with sureties Benj. Allen, Tunis Hood.

• Vol. 1 - MAY 12, 1746. - (43) William Taylor appd. Constable fr. Benj. Allen's to lower end of Co.

• Page 315.--Starr Lick on head of Benj. Allin's River, crossing the North Fork, pine on South Fork. patented to Thomas West, 20th June, 1749. Teste: John Dunbarr, Sarah ( ) Dunbarr, Paul Custard, John Caplenger.

Information on Benjamin Allen

From "Pioneers of Old Frederick County, Virginia" by Cecil O'Dell, pg. 461:

Benjamin Allen (b. 1690c.) purchased 900 acres located on Conowingo Creek and Octario Creek (branches of Susquehanna River) in northwestern Cecil County, Maryland, from Ephraim Herrman and his wife Isabella for 120 pounds on 28 November 1714. Benjamin sold the northern half of the 900-acre tract (450 acres) to Reuben Allen for 60 pounds on 13 January 1719/20.
