Barthold is shown being born before his parents were married because he was adopted by the Strebels. Aunt Wanetta says he was born a Holley.

Could not find Barthold in the 1910 census.

Cleveland, Ohio 1900 city directory lists "Berthold" living with Amelia (Jacobs) Strebel. Harry M. Cook is also living there. 1900 census confirms this same information.
