On 23 Jan 1759, he, his widower father and 5 siblings disembarked at St. Malo. Barthelemy lived at St. Suliac from 1759 to 1761, 1763-1770; at Pleurtuit 1761-1762; at Pleudihen 1763 & 1770-1772. Barthelemy married on 20 Feb 1770 at St. Enogat, Ille-et-Vilaine, France to Anne BOURG, daughter of Alexandre & Ursule HEBERT (see family #155); six children listed.
