    Amos Newton m. date unknown Azubah Newton, d/o Ephraim Newton and Christian Ripley, b. Marlborough 1 Apr 1713, d. Southborough 9 Nov 1776. Her identity is shown by a statement of Ephraim's son Nahum Newton saying "I hereby certifie that Amos Newton of Southborough, who married the eldest [i.e., still living] daughter of Ephraim Newton, late of Leicester ...". She is also mentioned in Ephraim's daughter Mary's will as "sister Azubah Newton" along with a reference to "brother-in-law Amos Newton".
