"Mrs. Schier was born Jan. 9, 1928, in Llano County, Texas, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mamie Elizabeth (Wiley) Adams, where she attended school. On Dec. 21, 1957, she married Lee Roy Otto Schier in Llano. He preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1997. During her life, she was employed by Walls Manufacturing in Clifton and Marathon in Waco. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Crawford and the American Legion Auxiliary. Also preceding her in death was a brother, G.W. Adams. Survivors include one son, Scotty Winter and wife, Glenda of Gatesville; three daughters, Debra McDonald andhusband, Michael of Houston, Dixie Lee Harper and husband, Russell of Lake Kiowa, and Donna Gelfand and husband, Andrew of Plano; two brothers, Orlyn Adams and wife, Tye of Rosebud, and R.L. Adams and wife, Nell of Llano; a sister-in-law, Leona Adams of Crawford; fifteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
