Annie Moss was born on 1st September 1883 at Aley Green in the parish of Caddington, Bedfordshire. She was the daughter of a straw bonnet sewer named Elizabeth Moss. Annie's father is not named on her baptism record. Annie appears in the 1891 census living with her mother and great-grandmother Susan King at Aley Green. By 1901 Annie was working as a straw hat finisher and still living with her mother and younger brother at Aley Green.
Annie has yet to be researched after 1901.
