[Original comment: Millett was incorrect. He shows Anna the older sister married Aaron Riggs S2 above. But see Alvy Ray Smith, FASG who corrects this errors. Aaron Riggs married the younger Anna [Gloucester VR 1:578, Riggs: Anna, d. Andrew and Mary, July 13, 1724].
Response: Can't tell if Millett was incorrect but Alvy Ray Smith (credentials not relevant in face of evidence) was definitely incorrect. The probate of Aaron Riggs in 1789 (Essex 23681 here they are setting off "one third part of the Real Estate of Aaron Riggs late of Gloucester deceased, unto Abigail Riggs"] shows he had a widow Abigail, meaning the death record of "Aaron(?), w. Aaron" in 1773 probably was his wife Anna (link on Anna's page to handwritten record shows original did in fact say Anna, not Aaron, as the given name), born about 1711 by age at death. So probably she was the older sister as Millett said, or else from a completely different family, but definitely not the younger sister. Presumably the death date on 2 Oct 1820, which is impossible for the older sister and requires an age of 96 even for the younger sister, actually belongs to the wife of one of the later Aaron Riggs (the similarity to the death date for Martha (Adams), w. Aaron, on 1 Oct 1820 is striking). It is strange that the author reviewed other probates, but apparently missed Aarons. Clearly it is his because of the petition found there by his daughter, widow Lydia Lane, concerning her father's probate.]
