i ANNE, b. about 1628; in his notes of court proceedings, Winthrop noted on 3 July 1637 the case of "Henry Wood, a seaman in Mr. Tillet his ship, brought by the constable of Charlestown, and Mr. Nowell with him, for suspicion of ravishing Ann Brakerbourne, a child of nine years of age" [WJ 2:425]; she m. by 23 September 1652 William Foster [ChChR 11] and d. Charlestown 22 September 1714 "in 86th year" [ChVR 1:260; Wyman 362 (citing gravestone, for age)].
