Ludivina, as she was known, arrived in the United States in 1923. She was a nurse when she came across the border and her destination was Lewiston (Maine?). Its unknown when she came to Boston and met her husband John. Ludivina's birth date on her Birth Certificate is listed as March 15, 1900 but she always celebrated her birthdays on valentine's day and February 14th is listed as her birthdate on her Social Security records. February is also listed as the month she was born in two Canadian Census. Ludivina resided in Medford, MA for most of her life where she raised 3 children. She spent the last year of her life living with her daughter Patricia and her family in Plymouth, MA.
