Ann Seers' life has yet to be researched. She married a widower named Thomas Austin at Barkway in Hertfordshire in 1772. Four years later he fell foul of the poor laws and was removed from Barkway to Ashwell, and it would appear that Ann moved to Ashwell with her husband. The couple do appear to have had children, but they have yet to be researched or documented here. Ann died in 1787, about 15 years after her marriage. She was buried at Ashwell on 9th March 1787. Thomas remarried the following year.
