Ann Dolby Newborn was baptised on 19th May 1822 at Barnack in Northamptonshire, the illegitimate daughter of John Dolby and Sophia Newborn. Quite likely her father was the John Dolby who was buried in Barnack in 1823, aged 32. Ann's mother Sophia married a Hosea Henson in 1832, when Ann was 10. Ann died two years later, aged 12, and was buried at Barnack.
