Marriage and Family

On 20 April 1841, William Overton of South Carlton, carpenter and son of William Overton, carpenter, and Ann Coxon of the same place, servant and daughter of Joseph Coxon, carpenter, were married at the parish church of South Carlton, Lincolnshire. The marriage was witnessed by (Ann's father) Joseph Coxon and Rebecca Dawson.

Death and Probate

Ann Overton, wife of William Overton, master carpenter, died on 6 February 1884 at 26 Wilson Street in the city of Lincoln, Lincolnshire, of a diseased liver which she had for four months with gradual exhaustion; the death was registered on 7 February by Mary Hutton of 20 Maud's Hill Terrace, Lincoln, who was “present at death”.[1]
