Andrew enlisted in the Civil Way in the same company and regiment as his father: Company G, 14th Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The Company was attached to the 3rd Division, 3rd Brigade of the 14th Army Corp. He was mustered out at the same time as his father: 16 July, 1865, at Cleveland, Ohio. 1880 Census: A. C. Matella P. Doughman says that Andrew died about two months after Lucy died. Note that the record at Find-a-Graves says "1843-1923" but his death certificate gives a date of death as 12 Jul 1923.
