Will of Andrew Gullett (Sr.) dated Sept. 23, 1816 and probated in Lawrence County, Arkansas Territory

In the name of God Amen. As it is appointed for all men once to die, I do leave and bequeath 100 bushel of corn to my son Reece and the old rifle gun. I do leave and bequeath my plantation to Delpha Gullett my wife, all the corn except 100 bushel, to the support of the family. All the hogs and cattle in my claim for head of house creatures. The wagon and the Gin, all my farming tools I do leave unto her to the support of the children. All the household furniture and the leather for the use of the family. And all my just debts to be paid. At my wife Delpha deceased, all the children are to have an equal part all that lives with her, all the forage left to the support. All the above mentioned at my deceased.

The Last Will and Testament of Andrew Gullett was duly proved in open court according to law and there being no executor therein named Letters of Administration-With-The-Will-Annexed were thereupon granted to Delphina Gullett who together with Alexander S. Walker and Frederick Keel her securities entered into bond in the sum of one thousand dollars and and Letters of Administration-With-The-Will-Annexed was granted accordingly. Bazel Boran, Matthias Mock and Rubert Dunn were appointed appraisers of said estate.


PROBATE BONDS Lawrence Co., Arkansas Know all truly these presents that one Delphina Gullett, Alexander S. Walker and Frederick Keil---are held and firmly bound unto William Clark, Governor of the Territory of Missouri and his successors in office in the _____ sum of One thousand Dollars which payment will and truly to be made me ___ ourselves and her excecutors and administrators firmly by these presents -- Witness our hands and seal, this 23rd day of June--1817. The collection of the obligation, is such that if the written ____ in Delphina Gullett ---- administrators with the will annexed of all and singular the good and chattels, rights and ____ of Andrew Gullett----deceased do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods and chattels rightly and correctly of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands ____ ___ or knowledge of ____ said Delphina Gullett ---- or into the hands and possession of any other person or persons for him and the same do ___ do inhibit or cause to be inhibitted unto the office of the circuit court of the County of Lawrence at or before the 23rd day of September next ____ and the ____ goods and chattels, rights and credit, and all other than goods and chattels, rights, and credits of the said deceased at the time of the death of the said deceased which at any time after shall come to the hands and possession of the said Delphina Gullett or unto the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him do ___ and truly administor according to Law-- and further do make or cause to be made a true and ___ account of his said administration at or before the 23rd day of June 1818----and all the rest and ____ ___ if ___ and good and chattels, rights, and credits which shall be found remaining ___ the said administrators account the ____ first named and allowed by the circuit court of the County of Lawrence aforesaid and shall deliver and pay to such person or persons respectively as the said court by this decree and sentence ____ to the ____ ____ and ____ of the act shall appoint and direct and if it shall hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased ___ the executor or executors therein named do exhibit the same unto the office of the said court making request to have it allowed and approved and said will is allowed and approved. Then after said Delphina Gullett--___ ____ being thereto requested do ___ and deliver her said Letters of Administration then this obligation to ___and of no affect otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
