Andrew H. died in Old Town Timber at the age of 98. Old Town Timber is near Empire Township. The Book "Good Old Times in McLean County,Illinois" (see sources), states that Andrew H. was of Irish descent. His son, Thomas Davidson went to Kentucky in 1846 to visit, but didn't return until 1850. Andrew H. and Margaret Price are also of Hopkins County, KY.

An Amanda Gilmore was born and reared Fayette County, Ohio, came to Money Creek, Timer 1837. Family was 4 weeks on their journey to the West. Amanda walked all the way and drove cattle. She married March 7, 1839 Jesse Trimmer (born March 14, 1818 in Huntington County, New Jersey. His father was John Trimmer and mother was Elizabeth Lanterman. Money Creek was 1 mile North of where Towanda now stands.
