- Page 513.--15th September, 1748. Andrew Baxter's will. Wife, Margaret. 100 acres during her life, then to Andrew Stevenson, adjoining Wm. McClung. Legatee, Nathaniel Evans; legatee, Andrew Evans; legatee, John Pal; legatee, Jacob Anderson. Teste: Wm. McClung, George Stinson, David Moore. Proved. 15th August, 1753. by all witnesses; administrator granted Andrew Stevenson, who qualifies, with sureties Geo. Stevenson. David Moore.
- Page 203.--17th February, 1758. Colonel James Patton's estate; appraised by Thomas Stewart, John Ramsey, Edward Hall. List of bonds, bills, &c., due the estate: Andrew Evans, 29th January,
1753. (Listed among many others).
- Page 34.--24th September, 1762. George Adam Salling, of Orange County. North Carolina, to George Salling, £170, 200 acres in first fork of James River; cor. John Paxton's land. Teste: Andrew Evins, Christopher Vingard. Delivered: Jacob Hickman, 1st June, 1789, by written order from Peter Salling.
- Page 345.--23d November, 1763. Adam Wall's will--To sister, Apell (Apol ?), Wall, 1/2 of his estate which is 150 acres on New River, her part joining on Strupel's Creek; to brother's son, John Wall; to eldest brother's son, Andrew Wall; to Jacob Nomel (?); to sister, Apell Wall, £20 in Adam Harman, Sr.'s hands, and also what is due from Wm. Ingles for beef. Teste: James Calloway, Thos. Ingles, Ezel Morris. Proved, 19th June, 1764, by James Calloway. Apple Wall qualifies administratrix, with Pat. McCollom, Andrew Evans. (Apple's mark ).
- Page 315.--15th May, 1767. John Ramsey and Mary ( ) to John Gilmer, Jr., £145 paid to Andrew Evans, 220 acres, part of 400 acres which did belong to John Ramsey upon main branch of James River, corner Carmickel's land. Delivered: Robert Thompson, 24th May, 1784.
