    "... found a record where Greenwood Farris gave Andrew some land in 1848 when Andrew was 16 years. The record states that Andrew is to have full charge of the land even though he is only 16 years old."

    "Andrew sold land in sec 19-twp 66-range 20 in April 1864. We got county maps of both Mercer and Putnam Counties. Andrew's land was about a mile from Samuel's. This is located about a mile or two south of St. John, Missouri (which is no longer there). We drove to both of these locations. Interesting. Samuel sold his land in April 1864"
