There's an Andrew Grass, b. 1860 in the 1880 census, living with his parents, Andrew Grass, 61 and Christiana, also 61. There's also a brother Fred, 33. Andrew was the manager of Stove Oil Co.

Found baptism of the above Andreas Grass in St. Johns Evangelical church record: Andreas Grass, b. 9 Nov 1855; bapt 16 Nov 1855; parents: Andreas Grass, Christina Grass; sp: Elis. Hiller, Susanna Jones.

In the 1890 Buffalo City Directory, there are two Andrew Grasses, one living at 263 William (might be the senior Andrew; no occupation is listed), the other is a general clerk at the city clerk's office, living at 179 Cedar. A Fred Grass is also living at the 263 William address. These two addresses are VERY close to each other; they're also only a few short blocks from 149 Hickory where Philipp Betz (father of Andrew's wife, Eugenia) is living.
