Goodwin has a note in the back that states the following: The Virginia Genealogist, Vol. 32, Oct. -Dec. 1988, The Jacksons of Lower Virginia p. 259 says that Ambrose 2 Jackson married Amy Wyche daughter of James Wyche. They lived in Edgecombe Co., NC in the 1740's and moved to the Ninety-Six District of SC in the late 1740's. The article only has one child determined - Ephraim. Amy was a first cousin of Elizabeth Wyche who married Theophilus Goodwin, Sr. She is also a first cousin to Elizabeth's sister Amy who married Abraham Greene. These families were orginally in Surrey Co., VA and migrated together. Theophilus Sr.'s son John married an Elizabeth. She is believed to be the daughter of Ambrose 2 Jackson and Amy Wyche Jackson.
