DEATH:- ALVIN BURR [excerpt] Peacefully at CEE Hospital, Petrolia on Wednesday November 19, 1997 Alvin Lee Burr of RR 4 Alvinston in his 93rd year. Born in Euphemia Twp. Son of the late J. Abner and Mary (Dodge) Burr. Beloved husband of 69 years of the late Gwendolyn (Annett) Burr (November 1, 1997). Dear brother- in-law of Geraldine Burr of Alvinston, Kathleen Winter of Strathroy, Charlie Annett of Alvinston. Patricia Roberts of Toronto, Doris Copeland of London and Marge Annett of Medicine Hat, Alberta. Predeceased by son-in-law Ken Campbell (1979), granddaughter Karen Douglas (1975) and brother Perry Burr (1984). Relatives and friends were received at the Alvinston Chapel, 3232 River St., Alvinston on Thursday where the funeral service was held Friday, November 21 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Aughrim Cemetery, Euphemia Twp.
