Theory so far:
I believe it is possible that Almira M Raner Hall is the daughter of a Joshua Raner and Hannah V.
V probably is for Vangilder. They are the parents of a Jeremiah Raner (Civil War Vet) of Steuben County, New York. And the possible parents of a Eunice (Raner) Winney of Rhea Co., TN.
Notes:
Almira in the 1850 census says she was born in , Cayuga County, New York.
Almira in the 1880 census says:
her father was born in New Hampshire,
her mother born in New York.
