Alice Willey [probably daughter of Allen and Alice (Mason) Willey], b. say 1636; m.Boston 5 December 1659 John Garretson [BVR 72]. … No definitive proof has been found for the inclusion of a daughter Alice in this family, but the circumstantial evidence points in that direction. One would expect a daughter to be named for Allen's wife, and there would be time for her to be born soon after arrival in Boston, but before the death of Allen Willey. No records have been found in New England for Daniel and Alice (Willey) Garretson after their marriage in 1659, so she may have died without issue before Thomas Marshall made his deed of gift in 1664.
