  3.   According to Pearce Genealogy, p. 53, Alice d. 28 Mar 1719. However, the will of her father in 1763 mentions a daughter "Alles Dwelly" which implies that she lived past 1719 (or else there was a second daughter named Alice). However, since her grandmother, Alice (Hart) Pearce d. 11 Mar 1719, and Alice's death record in VR Rhode Island says 28 Mar 1796, one suspects that the 28 Mar 1719 death date is a bookkeeping error by the author of the Pearce Genealogy, who apparently jumbled the two dates together in his confusion, and so is a mistake. Thus, there is no need to speculate about a second daughter named Alice.
