The funeral of the late Mrs. Orange Hall occurred from the home in Dublin Sunday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. J.O. Bills, of Lewisville, and Rev. C.H. Hobbs, of the Dublin M.E. Church. A large concourse of relatives and friends were present to pay their last respects. The floral tributes were profuse. The burial was in the south cemetery.

Alice Hall, daughter of William and Melissa Marquell, was born in Selma, Indiana, January 27, 1872, and peacefully fell asleep in Jesus, on the evening of May 26, 1911, at the age of 39 years, 3 months and 29 days. On December 23, 1890 she was united in marriage to Orange Hall. Their home was blessed with two children, Harry and Inez, who with their father survive. At the age of 16 years she was happily converted to God at Redkey, Ind., and united with the United Brethren church of that place. After moving to Dublin about 11 years ago, she became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Her sickness was of long duration but through all her intense suffering she never murmured or complained. She expressed a desire to remain with her loved ones, but also stated repeatedly that she was resigned and prepared to go if God willed it so. Mrs. Hall was a good kind neighbor, and affectionate wife and mother, always ready to cheer and encourage her family and friends. Beside husband and children she leaves a father and two brothers.

One by one the chairs stand vacant, That were filled by those we loved, One by one the seats are filling, In our Father's house above.
