A copy of her husband's "evidently nuncupative" will, made 2 Apr 1621, the original "probably written 21 February, 1620, old style, the day of William Mullin's death", mentioning Alice, was sent back to England on the Mayflower in early April 1621 by Governor Carver. There appears to have been no note that Alice (and son Joseph) had also perished, which would have been expected if they had, so it is presumed Alice was still alive in early April. A daughter, Sarah (Mullins) Blunden, who was still in England, was made named to administrate the estate 23 Jul 1621.
