ALFREDA FLETCHER, 65 YEARS IN WATERVILLE SUCCOMBS ON COAST

Waterville March 11 Mrs. Alfreda Henrietta Fletcher, 67, resident of Waterville since 1885, died Friday in a Seattle hospital following a long illness. She had lived in Waterville until August 1949 when failing health made it necessary for her to live in Seattle with a brother, Ernest Kummer.

Surviving are four sons: Arnold A. of Seattle, Gordon of Ephrata, Jeff of Seattle, and Jack E. of Waterville; two daughters, Mrs. Louis Stevens of Spokane and Mrs. Alrene Jackson of Culver City, California; one brother Ernest Kummer of Seattle; one sister Mrs. George H. Norris of Payette, Idaho; and six grandchildren. Her husband, Charles E. Fletcher preceded her in death in 1945 in Waterville.

The Thomas funeral home of Waterville will announce funeral arrangements.

MRS. ALFREDA FLETCHER

Waterville , March 13, Funeral services for Mrs. Alfreda Fletcher, 65 will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Federated church in Waterville with the Rev. S. Reimann officiating. Casket bearers will be Carl Dahlke, Hayo Ruse, Frank Carroll, A. J. Hensel, Charles Speed and Dorris Nelson.

Mrs. Fletcher died in a Seattle hospital Friday following an illness of several months. She had been a resident of Waterville since 1885, coming here with her parents when a small child from Illinois. Mrs. Fletcher was a member of the Lutheran church and Rebekah Lodge of Waterville.

Her husband, Charles E. Fletcher, preceded her in death in 1945. Surviving are four sons, two daughters, one brother, one sister and six grandchildren.

The Waterville Rebekah lodge will have charge of final services at the mausoleum. The family requests those who wish to contribute to the memorial hospital fund. The Thomas Funeral Home of Waterville is in charge of arrangements.
