Alexis AUCOIN, age 20, oledest of the four sons of Joseph AUCOIN, traveling with them and [his father's 1st cousin] Marie Ozitte BRAUD, as the 4th family (of 6 persons) aboard "La Ville d'Archangel." Upon disembarking, the Spanish list has his father Josef AU COING receiving 1 each of knife and large knife; 2 each of axe, hatchet, shovel and hoe. Alexo AU COING is listed just below receiveing 1 each of axe, hatchet, hoe, knife, large knife; 2 shovels. [Apparently he was old enough to be considered his own household.]
