Alexander Pattison, a former well known business man of this city, but for the past ten years has resided at Centerville, met with an accident Friday, that resulted in his death.. He had the contract for painting the Presbyterian church at Plain Grove. and was at work there when the accident occurred. Mr. Pattison was about 50 years of age and resided in this city until about ten years ago when he moved to Centerville. While here he was in the grocery business with Will Wick on Pittsburg Street under the firm name of Pattison & Wick. He was the brother of Mrs. Boggs of this city, and of Robert, William and David Pattison of Union township. He was also a brother of the late Mrs. J. S.
