Facts and Events
Name[1] Rev Alexander Anderson
Gender Male
Birth? 10 Oct 1764 Orange County, North Carolina
Marriage 19 May 1787 Orange County, North Carolinato Phebe Hall
Death? Feb 1804 Elkton, Kentucky

In the fall of 1797 he emigrated to Tennessee, and settled in Sumner county, three miles south of Gallatin.

His death occurred in Kentucky, and his remains now lie about midway between Elkton and Russellville, in that State. The disease which carried him off overtook him while engaged in his appointed work; he was soon to be ordained as a minister in the Presbyterian Church. His widow lingered with the children through fifty years, but she always had a comfortable home, and the kind regard of all who knew her.
