A.B. Lenney
A. B. (Bert) Lenney, 85, a Champion Township resident for 60 years, died in the home of his son, Lee, with whom he resided, at 11:15 a.m. Sunday. He had been ill for two months.
Born in Niles, March 3 [5], 1867, a son of James and Jemima (Brandon) Lenney, he was a retired carpenter.
He was a member of the United Brethren Church at Wildare and was also a member of the West Mecca Odd Fellows Lodge.
His wife, Anne, whom he married in 1890, died in 1947.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Flossie Overmire, Greene; two sons, Lee, with whom he resided, and Arlie, Bazetta; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Love Funeral Home, Cortland, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in charge of Rev. Stanley Partridge. Burial will be in Champion Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:20 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
