    [Note: the Frank Farnsworth Starr manuscript indicated as the source does not appear to be online, but the introduction says p. 56-75 were taken from Volume 2 of land records, and this page in volume 2, near the bottom of the left side, has several Bidwell births including Adonijah, and the date is 18 Oct 1716, not 13 as shown below, so has been communicated by Barbour.]

    Sacred to the memory of Revd Adonijah Bidwell, A.M.
    who was born at Hartford Oct. 13th [-sic-see following comment] 1716 received an education
    at Yale College, was ordained Pastor of the Church of
    Christ in Tyringham Oct. 5th AD 1750 in which character
    he was greatly beloved for his Christian friendship,
    candour, charity, industry, sound judgement & strict
    integrity until Jun. 2d 1784 and then calmly expired
    in full hopes of a happy immortality through the
    merits of the Redeemer.
    [Note: the transcription of this inscription on Find A Grave shows the birth date as "Octobr. 18th, 1716." It is hard to read in the photo but appears to say "Oct18th 1716, but there appears to be additional text between this line and the next line, above the word College, that may be related?]
